Feeling Good Caring Well - Butterfly Meadow
Our first Autumn walk at our regular Brentwood venue was bathed in sunshine as we visited the stunning Butterfly Meadow. The walk was led by one of our Carers who explained that this glorious oasis has only been created in the last year. A real jewel in the crown of Brentwood and just a short walk from the hubbub of the town centre. Beautiful willow walkways, lots of hand carved benches and a human sundial that works! It was lovely to spend time with our Carers who chatted, laughed, supported each other and made sure that everyone felt included and welcomed.
Our next Brentwood walk will be on Wednesday 27th October at 10.30am, to join us for some greenspace revitalising please book your free place - details below. Light refreshments are always provided free of charge at the end of our walks in the sanctuary of Merrymeade Tea Rooms.
We were joined on the walk by Karis from 'United in Kind' who support both individuals and groups in communities across Essex, spreading kindness and connecting people to services. If you'd like to know more please email: email@example.com. The monthly walk is supported by Active Essex and Brentwood Borough Council who have helped us to help our Carers - thank you.
