Feeling Good, Caring Well Pamper Evening
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE AND CHAIR FIT IN MALDON UNDER THE FEELING GOOD, CARING WELL PROGRAMME
The Feeling Good, Caring Well inaugural event was held at Brickhouse Farm, Action for Family Carers Maldon Day Centre on 22nd January 2019.
Carers were treated to taster Indian Head Massages, an array of home made cakes and a fruit platter, they also got to meet Louise from Essex County Fire & Rescue Service who dropped in to talk through Community Services and Fire Safety in the home and were put through gentle paces with some Chair Fit excercises lead by Carina and Chris Freer from Up Beat Life.
The event was supported by Action for Family Carers Staff and Volunteers and a fun, chatty evening was had by all.
Jayne Hare, Day Centre Manager, commented…..”how lovely it was to see the Carers at the Day Centre enjoying an evening for themselves”.
