Harlow Young Carers Jack Petchey Award winner
Harlow Young Carers nominated Kane Peck as their Jack Petchey Award Winner for the 2020 Spring Term 'Action for Family Carers - Harlow Young Carers' group. The photo shows him being presented with his certificate by Dennis Northcott, representing Matching Tye Classic Car Club. The MTCCC members are great supporters of Harlow Young Carers and kindly donated Argos vouchers to the club for items or equipment to be chosen by the Young Carers themselves.
Kane proved what a popular young man he is with the following citations for his achievement.
"He has shown courage and perseverence in
overcoming negative emotions to continue to club.
Through a love of photography he has shown us
the world through his eyes, the eyes of a young carer,
very successfully and is very talented"
"He always tries his best with coming
to club and is a strong person"
"He raises awareness for young carers
through his photography on Facebook"
He's always a strong individual who finds a way
to share his interests. Despite his shy nature,
he is always kind and makes himself present"
