We know that you don’t care in isolation from the rest of your family and that your caring role and wellbeing is intricately linked to your family unit.
We take a more holistic approach to your situation. By working with your whole household including your needs as a Carer, those of the person you care for as well as your wider family, we can offer more comprehensive and well-rounded support.
What support do you provide?
We can support you to find solutions to the things you might be struggling with or are worried about.
Our Carer & Family Response team can:
- Provide information, advice and guidance on practical issues such as housing, social care, and benefits.
- Help you find out what other local support is available such as local support groups.
- Support the whole family including both Young and Adult Carers
- Continue to support you until your issue is resolved
We know that joined-up support from the variety of professionals involved in your life is crucial and can reduce stress for you. With your permission, we talk to the other professionals involved in your life such as social services, schools, colleges and other charities so we can work together to create joined-up support for you.
Who can access this support?
The service is available to Adult and Young Carers. Due to funding restrictions, support is available to residents of the District of Chelmsford.
