Our Day Centre had a reason to celebrate so as the sun was shinning Lisa Whitely, our Day Centre Manager organised a little Garden Party…
Thanks to our wonderful volunteers Robert, Bob and Sue, our day centre garden won gold in the Maldon in Bloom competition. As part of the celebrations they were presented with a certificate and voucher as thanks for all their hard work.
Our guests included Sir John Whittingdale MP, Maldon District Councillors Flo Shaunessey, and John Driver, plus Mayor of Maldon, Cllr Andrew Lay.
Cllr Lay presented a cheque on behalf of the Mayor’s Charities Appeal to our CEO James Clarke.
Our day centre clients were treated to delicious homemade scones and sunshine surrounded by the flowers in the garden.
