Supporting Young Carers Across Essex
Young Carer Action Day shines a light on the thousands of children and young people across the UK who help care for a family member. These young carers often balance school, friendships and their own wellbeing alongside caring for someone who may be ill, disabled or experiencing mental health challenges.
At Action for Family Carers, we support young carers across Essex through in-school support, Young Carer Clubs and respite activities, helping them take a break from caring, build friendships and improve their wellbeing.

Young Carers Visiting Westminster
To mark Young Carer Action Day, a group of young carers supported by Action for Family Carers will visit the Palace of Westminster to meet Chris Vince MP. The visit will give young carers the chance to share their experiences and help raise awareness of the support they need.
