Colin Philpott – Vice Chair
Colin Philpott Vice Chair became a Trustee of what was then called Maldon Carers Centre in 2006 following his retirement from a public services career (Human Resources in a London Borough). He then took up various voluntary roles serving on Mental Health Panels for the North Essex NHS Partnership Foundation Trust and the Priory Hospital, Chelmsford, visiting persons in custody on behalf of the Police Authority, Clerk to the Trustees and then Chairman of a small Charity managing alms houses in Maldon and a Committee member of Maldon Twinning Association. He was a Partnership Governor and a Community Mentor at The Plume School and also Chairman and then President of Maldon Cricket Club for a number of years.
Colin and his wife Helen have four children and six grandchildren who live in the Cotswolds, Southern England and USA.
