James Clarke joined Action for Family Carers in May 2011. His previous experience includes managing Citizens Advice, careers and Connexions services in Inner London and volunteering in the disability sector in Cambodia and St Helena.
Originally graduating from Southampton University with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, James later completed postgraduate level qualifications in careers guidance and, more recently, in leadership and management.
James has cycled from London to Brighton and London to Southend, run the London Marathon and completed the Maldon Mud Race in support of Action for Family Carers.
He lives in Maldon with his young family and a few tropical fish.
