We’re delighted to share that Action for Family Carers has been recognised as Carers Card UK Care Organisation of the Month.
This special recognition came following a nomination from an unpaid carer we have supported through our services. Their nomination highlighted the positive difference our team has made to carers’ lives across Essex, and we’re incredibly grateful for their kind words. It means so much to know that our support has had such a positive impact.
Carers Card UK is one of several schemes available to unpaid carers, offering benefits such as photo ID to help identify your caring role, along with access to discounts, concessions and other useful offers.
To help carers find the right option, we’ve launched a brand new Carer’s Cards page on our website. It brings together information on the different national Carer’s Card schemes, as well as details about the Essex Emergency Carer’s Card, which can help ensure the person you care for is supported if an emergency means you’re suddenly unable to provide care.
