Volunteers’ Week celebrates the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK.
Some of our services at AfFC couldn’t operate without the contribution of our incredible volunteers. While we endeavor to ensure they feel valued all the time, we’re using National Volunteers Week to say THANK YOU.
Volunteering offers many benefits, not only to our charity and the carers we support but also to the volunteers themselves.
It brings a sense of community, gives people a sense of purpose, helps them make new friends, and builds skills that can benefit a person’s career and confidence.
We have many different roles across Essex to get involved in so if you’re thinking about volunteering and would like to hear more, please get in touch!
