Nick Rainbird, Wellbeing in Nature and Forest Bathing Practitioner, is offering all unpaid carers the opportunity to experience Forest Bathing at Butlers Retreat, Chingford on Monday 10th June 2pm – 4pm.
Shinrin Yoku, or Forest Bathing is the Japanese practice of spending time in a woodland environment to improve health and wellbeing through gentle activities that re-awaken the senses and our connection to nature.
The session is free but parking at Butler’s Retreat is £2 per hour – please speak to Nick if you have any questions around parking as he has visited the site.
The short path leading to the allocated Forest Bathing site is still a little muddy so do bring appropriate footwear. Nick has also mentioned you are welcome to bring a small folding chair if you wish.
To book your place please contact Nick directly on his contact details listed below.
