Judy Spiceley joined Action for Family Carers over 10 years ago and has been on the Board for about 10 years as Lead Trustee for Quality, having been a volunteer telephone befriender before that.
Before retirement Judy was a Software Quality Engineer at BAE Systems in Chelmsford.
Judy has an Open University degree in Maths and Computing and was a Member of the British Computer Society.
Judy enjoys swimming, singing, knitting, crosstitch, reading and crosswords.
Judy and her husband enjoy cruising and try to do at least one a year.
They have 2 sons and two grandchildren who also keep them busy.
