Volunteer with us
Action for Family Carers is committed to supporting and developing volunteering in Essex to provide opportunities for volunteers to enhance our services within a diverse range of volunteering roles.
We work closely with local Volunteer Centres, education providers and local employers to recruit volunteers and match the skills and interests of volunteers to the right opportunities.
Volunteers from all backgrounds are welcomed and we treat volunteers fairly and with respect, ensuring our volunteers make the most of their time with us and have access to various learning and development opportunities.
We are keen to support our local colleges and students. If you are currently studying for a counselling qualification and are in your final year - we may be able to help you gain experience and bank those much-needed counselling hours. If this is of interest to you, please contact our Counselling Coordinator on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteer roles at Action for Family Carers can be flexible depending on the role you choose and your availability. Certain roles require a regular commitment, whilst others are on an occasional basis, so we are sure to find something for you. For more information, see the Volunteer Essex website.
